DESCRIPTION

On the edge of the village, a flat plot opens up, surrounded by traditional hayracks and wheat fields.

The main guideline of our design was to integrate the new building into the village environment as much as possible. The building's massing is simple, with a gable roof and an attached summer kitchen. Large glass openings capture views of nature, while the rear of the house closes off towards the village.

The structural design of the surrounding hayracks has been translated into facade and interior elements. Great attention was paid to the social space, represented by the living area with a dining room and kitchen. A notable feature is the concrete vertical element, housing two fireplaces - one in the living area, the other in the bedroom.

The external arrangement of the building blends with the surroundings, incorporating local vegetation.
