DESCRIPTION

The design of the prototype bank office responds to the challenges of today, when most banking services have moved online. Nevertheless, the need for personal contact remains – especially when concluding important agreements such as home loans. Our answer lies in the concept of a “city living room,” which combines a sense of domestic comfort with openness and urban character. In this way, traditionally closed and introverted banking spaces are transformed into places that can also host smaller social events.

The spatial concept is based on a reinterpretation of the city street, adapted to the scale of the branch. Entering through the 24/7 zone reveals a fluid space where, on one side, the strict rhythm of the street is felt, while on the other, the warmth and openness of the new branch unfold. Glass-enclosed offices alternate with informal lounge areas with sofas, offering suitable settings for different purposes – from private conversations to relaxed gatherings at occasional events.

The office integrates contemporary features such as charging stations for electric scooters and bicycle parking, supporting today’s trends in sustainable mobility. The material palette combines the utilitarian character and rigor of terrazzo flooring with warm tones and soft furniture lines, creating a pleasant sense of homeliness.

The prototype office is designed as a response to the needs of modern banking – a spatial concept that goes beyond classical functional frameworks and places customer well-being at its core.
