SIMPLE Hair Salon Citypark

In the shopping hub of Ljubljana, Citypark, we designed a concept hair salon of the Simple chain. This salon focuses on usability, comfort, and elevates the experience of customers and employees alike.

We envisioned a modern hair salon, framed by a black display strip.

In a square space, we placed a sales wall with a cash register in the middle, obscuring the view to the hair washing station. The gleaming sales wall highlights the products and attracts the attention of passersby. We installed six workstations on the perimeter walls and situated the waiting area in the display window, thus creating greater privacy for customers during haircuts.

The furniture is designed for mass production and easy assembly. Industrial materials (pine plywood, metal) were used, which are cost-effective and quickly available. The base of the furniture is hidden behind wooden panels, where vertical rods are drilled into which all furniture elements are attached.
In this way, it adapts to the needs of the user (adjustable height and position of individual elements). All furniture is raised from the floor, allowing for quick and easy cleaning. Large mirrors on the back wall of the salon visually enlarge and illuminate the space. The quality of the space is reflected in good lighting that properly illuminates the customer's face and scalp.

The wood-encircled space creates a pleasant, relaxing ambiance and stands as an exception in the saturated space of the shopping center.
