My Bird Buddy Office

We designed the offices of a startup company that developed a smart birdhouse with a camera. The camera in the birdhouse informs the owner with a photo about the bird visitor and identifies the bird. We analogously transferred the digital principle, which naturally brings nature to the mobile device, into the office – we embedded nature, with which the company identifies inseparably, into the artificial environment of the office.

Green walls, embedded in carefully selected tree trunks, create a pleasant working environment. Potted plants and greenery emphasize the green workspace. The principle of nature in the offices is also ecological – the equipment is designed sustainably and allows for easy relocation and recycling of installed materials in case of possible expansion/relocation of the company.

The acoustics of the workplaces are improved with green walls and acoustic panels, ensuring that communication at the workplace does not overly disturb other employees.

The office, which requires a lot of audio-video communication over the World Wide Web, accommodates various typologies of workplaces: coworking open space, smaller cellular offices, standing and sitting workplaces, meeting rooms, and phone booth chat rooms.

The coworking open space desk in the shape of an amoeba is the center of the business spaces and allows for productive think tank brainstorms. Placement close to the terrace blurs the boundary between work outdoors and indoors. Smaller cellular offices serve specialized teams to focus on specific tasks, and workplaces can be sitting or standing. Thus, the company ensures healthier working conditions. Meeting rooms are intended for video calls, phone booths – chat rooms for a complete retreat of individuals.

The design of the offices follows the logic of the company and subtly brings nature into the offices.
